Would also save alot of time making multiple game disks (i.e. instead of extracting all the isos then repacking you could just repack the isos themselves)

I agree that it would have to be a feature of the kernel. You could create an app that would mount the ISO, but as soon as you executed the default.xbe of the game, the original app would terminate and the ISO would cease to be mounted, which would cause the Xbox to freeze up.

I didn't know FATX had that restriction, but that's a pretty compelling reason also.

I don't like VB apps. I prefer to use XISO.
