Burning Games To Cd-rw
« on: June 03, 2003, 05:37:00 PM »

I have NBA Street Vol. 2 and i wanted to make a backup of it.  I put it on my pc hd by using flash fxp and i made the iso using xiso.  The iso is 2.06 gb.  The cd-rw's are only 700 mb.  I tried to burn it anyway and it said it was too big.  Can you burn games to cd-rw's or only dvd's??  Could someone please help.
Thanks.

Dude, what the fuck?

Ok, a CD holds around 700MB.  A DVD holds around 4.3GB.  An XBOX game can be anywhere from 0K to as big as 8.5GB.  You do the math man.

Most people are using DVD-R or +R for this.  Some games are too big for that.

Get a clue.  You can't store more on a friggin' disc than it can hold.   Where have you been?  :uhh:  :jester:  :rotfl:    :luv:  :boring:  :grr:

As Mr.Ed said it is impossible to burn a 2.06GB file to a 700MB disc.  DVD burners are getting cheaper so I would highly recommend picking one up.

Lamers section candidate?  I mean my God, you would think it's pretty obvious.
