Nice dash, but you'venot added a file manager yet! Shove one in please :)

Also, I'm having problems getting my pro config running. I changed the config.ini from novice to pro, but the options in config_pro.ini stop after the LED sequence. None of the options listed in the english instructions after LED are there? So it's impossible for me to direct my games to sub folders. I can do that in the novice config though. <

Cest que ce DOH!! or something like that lol :D I read a lot, but not that bit. Sorted now thanks :)

I've relinked XBMC(who actually names their apps folder applications and XMBC Xbox Media Centre? lol), changed white to eject, and added my game sub folders into the games menu. Next up is actually adding the sub game menus and dropping the ridiculous number of buttons to reboot.

That'll be easy enough, but what I can't figure out is how to enable the game icons in the menu. At a guess it's in here

[ApparenceMemoryMenu] ....... Appearence of the 1st Memory menu
1=oui/non ................... Display the Cellwall (your cellwall.xbx image)
2=oui/non ................... Display the Button (A)
3=oui/non ................... Display the Button (B)
4=oui/non ................... Display the Orb
5=oui/non ................... Display l'Armature
5=rien/jbone ................ Choice of the Orb content ('xbox4' to display your xbox4.xbx image, 'rien' for nothing and 'icon' for your Icon.xbx)
6=oui/non ................... Display the Orb Wall

But there's so many of those, which one enables them and is it simply a case of putting icon in on it's own?

Thanks again. <

In order to have game/app/emulator icons appear, you must add texture files to Icons.xip that correspond to the folder names of each game/app/emulator. The default.xap in Icons.xip must also be updated with the new icon names. And of course icon has to be selected as the display option in each of the sub menus that supports custom icons.

This is how it was done in the past, I assume it is still the same in the new version. <

Thanks, I can give up on that then, I thought it’d just look in the save folder for those. New problem though...I can’t seem to add a new section to the HD menu. I can add another diectory to games like this...

[MenuLancementDD_1_2GAM]
1=Jeux
2=Jeux
3=default.xbe
4=Games
5=default.xbe
>>>>6=games\sport<<<<
>>>>7=default.xbe<<<<
[MenuLancementDD_2_2GAM]
1=Applications
2=Applications
3=default.xbe
4=Apps
5=default.xbe
[MenuLancementDD_3_2GAM]
1=Emulateurs
2=Emulateurs
3=default.xbe
4=Emulators
5=default.xbe
6=Emuls
7=default.xbe
[MenuLancementDD_4_2GAM]
1=Dashboards
2=Dashboards
3=default.xbe
4=Dash
5=default.xbe
[MenuLancementDD_5_2GAM]
1=Dashboards
2=Dashboards
3=default.xbe
4=Dash
5=default.xbe

...but I want a seperate section for sports. I thought this...

[MenuLancementDD_6_2GAM]
1=Sport
2=games\sport
3=default.xbe

...would do it, but it’s not showing up. I’ve done it easily enough in the novice config, but I want to use pro. <

If you're using DVDx2 like I am then push in the left thumbstick and press X to rewind and B to fast forward. If you're using something else, then I'm sorry but I don't know. <
