Well I have an ancient xbox bought during launch and a prehistoric executer v.1 modchip. Since this modchip is unflashable and will look for the xboxdash.xbe during boot, if i want to use avalaunch can I just rename avalaunch.xbe to xboxdash.xbe for me to use avalaunch? Will this work?

Yeh just rename it to xboxdash thats the old school way !!

:evil: You know something...I thought i was an old pro at this xbox stuff, and then I tried to fix a dinosaur box-couldn't do it!
