I was wondering how long it would be before they had MythTV out for the PS3

the PX-TV402U PVR adds a bit of cost to it though... at $200+you could easily just have a stand alone unit with similar storage... a couple hundred more and you can make a dedicated MythTV box with 3 or 4 times the storage.

exactly! and throw that box in the basement where it nicely can make noise, and meanwhile use the ps3 as a mythtv frontend... This news sucks tough, since its not news... same shit couldve been done with the original xbox, both being a frontend and a actual standalone... usb 1.1 would be slow tough, but hey, xbox1 is old hardware...
