Nevermind, I figured it out after a lot of practise. Turns out I was throwing it too hard.

Start palm up, and as you release the ball, turn your hand 90 degrees, and end with all your fingers in a vertical row, with your thumb towards the sky, next to your ear. Good luck!  smile.gif

I'm surprised at how accurate wii sports are. I'm a bowler, and can do good in bowling: my ball looks like it does in real life. In golf, all my balls slice to the right, just like in real life. Fun stuff. Tennis is definitely my favorite though.

Couldn't agree more. Once you get the hang of it, it performs exactly as you'd expect. Heck, this game is so fun that I'd buy it even if it wasn't included with the console.

Same here,my arm is a little bit sore from playing wii sports but its well worth it.

If you like Wii sports then you will probably love the minigame Darts on Super Monkey Ball like my wife and I do.  Last night we played darts for about 2 hours.

I find the curve more of a function of how late you release than actual spin.  I take three steps to the right and make sure I get a good amount of air underneath.  It curves left with some good force.  When I want to have the ball go straight I release so that no air is underneath, although it takes timing go get momentum like that.
