200 Gb Hard Drive Suddenly Not Working "unaccessible"

Look at your system event log for any errors on that volume. Mainly, and "disconnected without notification" messages (do you unplug it while the machine is on, if so then these errors won't help much).

I have never seen a 200gb HDD that lived passed 2 years.
