It declared bankruptcy during the 2003 season. There are two groups which are interested in purchasing the assets to CART. The OWRS, who plan on keeping thw wonderful series alive. The IRL(Indy Racing League), who plan on shutting the series down and continuing there shitty series. Why is CART better you ask?
