Rob Van Dam given a new push as his contract negotiations nears completion. Typical WWE behaviour.. but will it last once he's formaly signed.

WWE still ignoring Smackdown.. with no future plans to move and RAW stars to Smackdown to bolster the sinking ship.  WWE does intend to bring up more OVW talent to both brands though.  As Smackdowns ratings continue to slip.. and the push for the ANTI-SMACKDOWN Gimmick of BookerT these days.. it's almost as if the WWE is trying to kill off Smackdown.

Toronto Fans will be happy to hear that the Air Canada Centre here in Toronto is scheduled for Agust 15th to host Summerslam.  (considering Toronto is WWE's 3rd largest wrestling market.. it's about time.)

More WWE nonsense.. as they portray yet another talent as ANTI-AMERICAN and possibly with racist under-tones.  Kenzo Susuki (WWE named Hirohito.. a possibly slam against the Emperor?) will being playing a pissed off WWII type wanting revenge.  WWE story telling at it's best. (not)

Tyson Tomko.. that big retard that is hanging around as Christians Bodyguard.. is already not well liked backstage due to his arrogance and self-importance backstage.

Goldberg crying some more.. now telling people he wasn't allowed to use his classic jackhammer finisher towards the end of his stint. Hmm.. wonder if it could have anything to do with the fact that Goldberg has hurt more wrestlers with more moves than anyone else in recent history.  Talent complained he was reckless with the move.. of that I have no doubt. Goldberg is sloppy.  Honestly.. he is muscles and a tattoo.. with a pea for a brain.  The list of talent who wouldn't work with Goldberg is longer than the list who would.

- The WWE is taking a hard line with Austin after the contract talks stopped between the two parties. They have axed the “Stone Cold Brew” project they were backing. They have put his merchandise on sale at half-price at show’s and on WWE.com. And of course, they have retained the right’s to his name, all the time while still airing his fanatic series on InDemand PPV. There are rumors, however, that most people expect Austin to return to the company sometime before WrestleMania 21.

- Scott Steiner will be returning sometime this month, but little is known about his upcoming storyline and/or feud.

- The WWE is interested in purchasing Stu Hart’s home and making it a historical landmark in Canada.

- John Cena’s debut CD “Underground” will be released on June 8

William Regal should be returning to the ring in the next few weeks as he has been cleared to wrestle. Look for a possible tag match with Eugene as his partner.

-Eddie Guerrero will be getting his own two disc DVD this fall. The DVD is scheduled to be released on Sept 28th. Look for some big releases from the WWE this fall going into the Christmas season.

-The Rock is in talks to star in the new Marvel Comics movie “The Submariner
