Currently, there are no plans for the return of ECW. It was an idea talked about, but never reached the greenlight phase. The cancellation of WWE Confidential sparked rumors that ECW would take its timeslot, however, with the recent news of WWE Experience show has ended those rumors. WWE Experience is going to be more of a family-oriented show, with Ivory and Todd Grisham as the hosts.
As previously reported, the WCW brand name seems more likely for a return. The return of WCW is occasionally talked about backstage, but is not a plan. Vince McMahon continues to change his mind on the WCW return when ideas are brought up, citing the fact that hes wary of being associated with a failing brand.
