The author of “A Million Little Pieces” has admitted falsifying parts of his best-selling memoir of drug and alcohol addiction and rehab, which Oprah picked for her on-air book club last fall.

If you watch the news you have probably heard something about this.  The media seems to be devoting a great deal of time to this story but it is kind of funny.  The writer of the book is a supposed recovered drug addict.  Funny how surprised people are when they find out a drugee lied.  Wow what a concept.

she is only mad because she started losing her viewer base

Through the months she has been a staunch supporter of his, even though it was proven he had at best greatly exagerated the story.  She stated something to the effect that the truth does not matter, its the message that matters.  Then article after article started coming out in the NY Times and other newspapers about how she doesnt care about the truth and she is part of the problem with how George Bush got elected (no joke).  Only once she had been tied to GW did she start getting mad.

In the authors defense, if he really was that drugged out, he may not clearly remember what happened.
