Going back to the origins of the thread - the official language of the US is English, apart from in Michigan, where it's American.

i think that everyone should learn it or at least now alot of English. i don't mind them talking any other language cause if i could i know i would.

I wish the Scottish would learn English my mate is married to one and lives in this little village. I havnt got a friggin clue what anyone is saying to me. I just sit there and nod all night. And i thought scoucers and goerdies had strong accents!!!

the official language of america is american, bottom line, case closed, point proven....if u dont speak american u dont belong in america...period...i dont wanna walk around alabama and have to hear some foreign stuff i dont understand! what was that? i dont understand u! speak american or go back to ur country!
