Esa Plasma Problem
« on: July 24, 2007, 03:59:00 PM »

I wasn't sure if there were any tv guru's on here that could give me an idea how what is wrong. Well anyways I got the ESA brand plasma (45", I think) for free from my dads work, because of this:

So do any of you guys know what the problem is, and would it be easy to fix. And will it be expensive?

fixing problems like that requires intricate knowledge of the specific model TV...

I can't help you with this one... find a TV repair person.

I know this was kinda late, but usually a line going all the way top to bottom indicates one of two things.  The display is shot or a drive board went bad(highly unlikely).  It does really need shop repair.

If it is the display, you might as well toss that thing into the trash.  It would be too costly to repair.
