Another Stang Added To The Family
« on: June 26, 2009, 01:04:00 AM »

Well guys...As the title says, there is another stang in my little family. Its a 99 Cobra with 32k miles on her. Its in perfect condition from the exterior, to the engine bay, to the interior.  It's been garage kept all its life and has only seen rain 4 times at most. This car is in show car condition basically.
On to the pics. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

nice indeed.

not that I'm any better (as I'm looking at buying another car tomorrow) but what was the logic behind buying a 2nd Mustang?

Definitely plan on modding some stuff. I already have the tuner from my sixxer that im going to swap over to the cobra. Then after that probably Full length sub-frame connectors, intake/exhaust, gears, and some other minor bolt on's.
The overall goal for this car is to end up with a nice set of cams and a supercharger (whipple or Kenne Bell), but this will be after i finish all the bolt on's

Not really much logic to this purchase lol. It was really a spur of the moment purchase.
I originally found this cobra on craigslist listed for $13,5 and when i was looking at the pictures of it i noticed that the background looked a lot like my neighborhood (turns out the owner lived 2 streets down from me laugh.gif). Well i checked back another day and he dropped it to $10k. Once i saw that i went over to his house and told him consider it sold as i'll be back tomorrow with the money laugh.gif

What are you looking to buy twisted?

I like the wheels you got on that white one  biggrin.gif

if that were my car I'd totally debadge it, lower it about 2 inches, and get some projector headlights  muhaha.gif

Black rims + white car is a great combo biggrin.gif

I'm wanting to lower it for sure, but ive been confronted with a problem. I've been wanting to buy the software for making my own tunes. So its a toss up between the software or lowering springs + CC plates.

If this car was a GT or my v6 i probably would debadge it, but the cobra emblem looks awesome lol
I did do a little something different with the headlights...I took the headlights off my v6 and put them on the cobra since they go good with the white
