Depends, if the 'mobiles' use the same type of software and method for location (a triangulation between three satalites, I dont know of any other way to do it, but eh) then they do the same thing... As for accuracy I honestly wouldnt know, although, I've used Garmin products before and they rule.

well i use my phone as a sat nav thing. i got a bluetooth gps receiever of ebay and didnt get software of a torrent website ph34r.gif and installed it on my phone it works perfectly
