I would also replace the seats.  I dunno what swedes are built like but damn Volvo seems to actually go out of their way to design the most uncomfortable seats.  Good cars though.

the 240sx and 300zx are at the top of my list

...of course I wouldn't be adverse if I happened to stumble upon a mid 80s Corolla GTS love.gif or an M3 e30  love.gif  love.gif

I was looking at the 300zx for a lil while. But when there's an option for TT staring at you for not much more than a NA, it's hard not to got TT... and I can't afford the insurance on one atm. Alongside the 300 I was lookin' at 3kGT VR-4s, which I still wouldn't mind having. [sigh] oh well, lol. And I would rather an e36 M3... in black....  love.gif Gotta put too much work into an e30 to make it look good to me.

Not true.  If you can find an R32 or R34 already converted and legalized in the US, you can get one and it is still legal to get the R33s imported to the US.  A hell of alot more expensive to get them here though since you Canadians don't give a rats arse about car safety.  laugh.gif

I know you can buy the r34's and r32's that are already in the states, but now that you cant brign them in anymore they price has probably skyrocketed. I did not know that you could bring in the r33's, I thought that all right hand drive vehicles were banned.

If you want to talk about car safety in canada and the US, you can get away with going 90+mph in some states with nothing more than a small ticket. In calgary one day they sent up a speed trap on the highway set to 2Km/h over the speed limit. Needless to say a few thousand tickets were handed out.

I was referring to the integrity of the cars themselves. wink.gif  Not to mention emissions.   blink.gif

My friend has a skyline and it's running amazing, No big problems yet... but he is a mechanic and has done all of the work himself. The thing is a beast though, his turbo will put out 35psi putting him up to 650HP...

are these imported or actually sold with Canadian VINs?

If that's the case I'm importing one that's all there is to it.

I see them on ebaymotors quite a bit and they don't cost much more there than they do in japan (about $14-$15K USD).

He had to import it, in total I think it cost him $12,000 for a stock R32. He has spent much more $ on it since then.
