Another Video Software Question
« on: August 28, 2003, 06:43:00 AM »

Allright, I have tons of small video clips on my system mostly divx .avi and mpeg files.  Currently the only way I have to organize them is windows explorer in the thumbnails view.  It's not very good because it shows the 1st frame as the thumb, which many times is black. I want to be able to organize them visually, because the filenames mean nothing.

I have tried many movie organizers and they all seem to be for full movies, and don't arrange files by thumbnails.  I have tried "thumbsplus" or something and it sucks.  I use zoom player as my media player.  Is there a media player that can show a playlist as thumbnails?

The other idea i had was to assemble all the clips in one divx file, and make each clip a separate scene (does anyone know how to do that?) and then, if I could find a media player that allows you to view scenes as thumbnails, like some DVD players do, i'd be set.
