What's the big deal? It allows the Matrix to have 1MB for BIOS. It should have had this to begin with. Lame excuse for a release, if you ask me.

Yeah the only thing that annoys me about my x2 pro is the dip switch being on the back, but i'm planning on fixing that soon enough anyways.

I guess if you already have the matrix, you should get the chameleon. but if you don't have any chip, or if you have an older chip like an enigmah, it's nothing that you should climax over... dunno what all the excitement is.

Until I see USEFUL features that the chip can do which the x2 pro cannot do, I see no reason to be excited.
Software controlled bank switching isn't something I care much for, nor worth the time and money to swap.
