today, while hitting the power switch to reset my xbox, I heard a crack and the xbox wouldn't turn on. I took the thing apart, checked all the traces - couldn't find what happened. while looking at the powersupply, I noticed one of the v. regulators blew. After searching quite a bit here I noticed a lot of people are requesting powersupplies - are these thing really that badly made? it sucks to void the warranty putting in a mod only to have the machine fail for something that would have been a warranty repair.
and if anyone knows the specs on the q2 reg. let me know !
