I am following the tutorials to add a pc-dvd rom for better cdr/rw support. I kept the Xbox DVD-rom power supply connected, I disconnected the IDE ribbon from the xbox dvd and connected it to the pc-dvd drive. I went to radio shack and bought a 'Y' splitter for use to split the harddrive power cable to both the hard drive adn the pc-dvd rom. I tried both methods listed in the tutorial and neither of them worked. I am using the LiteOn 16x DVD Drive (which was one that that use in testing) but I cannot get it to read and CD's still. I've tried a Liteon cd-rw and a memorex cd-rw both burned at 1x. I am trying to install Evolution X. Do I need that installed intially to get this to work? I'm in the middle of this project right now and I could really use some help. Thanks
