Rainbow Six 3 Question

I've played Counter Strike, Halo, and Crimson Skies all with no problems on Xlink.  (GREAT app, BTW!) but with Rainbow Six 3, different issue.  I get to the syslink screen and all it ever does is search.  I'm in a room where there are lots of guys and still, I'm "Searching" for like 30 minutes.  I once tried for over an hour and kept refreshing every 5 minutes of so.....nothing.   I've tried several rooms with different number of people.......still, never see a game.....just "Searching" then "No matches found".  What gives?  Am I doing something wrong?

There is a connection issue with a certain version of Rainbow Six 3

I agree with the above post.  Try renting the game and see if that version works any better for you.
