Benq Drive Stuck In Vendor Mode
« on: September 07, 2013, 02:26:00 PM »

Hook the drive backup to your pc in the same manner as you did before, open jf, make sure the same port is selected as the one you first used, go to mtkflash tab, click intro and power on/off when asked.
If you get valid flash chip properties as well as status 0x73, then you have vendor and can write to the drive again.
If you are using the console as power source for the drive during the flashing process, make sure you have the av cable plugged to the console (doesnt have to be plugged to display) otherwise the console will power off after a short time.

Benq Drive Stuck In Vendor Mode

Had the same thing happen, except my x360usb pro froze, if you cant get the drive to recognize and into vendor mode (benQ) cause it has been erased or what not (like mine was) half-open tray when powering on will put the drive into vendor mode, then when you hit the "..." button on the port in jungle flasher, the drive will be recognized as already in vendor mode, and you can write to it.
