I am very new to game hacking, however i have a quick question. In some of the hacking halo movies i saw, the player within the game itself was able to load up a menu and manipulate and add things to the level in game. Ive seen a few other programs but they dont have this feature. Any idea on what  it is called ? Alli  need is the name

try the new spark edit 1.1 at haolmods.com try patching your xbe with czn halo patch and also patching your cahe with ppf files from halomods.com try that  i dont know about in the game editing but this editing is done on the computer also us cartographer from xbins

either:

1. their game disigners
2. have figured out how to re load levels during the game inlike a 100th of a second and go back to exactly where you were before with everythign the same as before
3. photoshopped or something

pretty sure its 3 or somehting

4. thye have figured out how to do more stuff than the game designers themself combind and are not telling anyone or anything

There are programs out there that will let you "inject" items into the levels. I recommend cartographer because it is simple and easy to use if you are just starting out. But if you want to do hex editing there are some great programs for that as well. The latter is more difficult and can be more time consuming but you can do some really cool stuff with it. go to gamesaves.com you can dl some cool hacked levels from there just to give you an idea of the stuff that is being done.

You cannot inject files while you are in game

Yes, Read the Sticky in the front page. It says how to change objects to other objects. For the menu, thats a trainer you download from xbox-saves.com.  

And for the inject, the only thing you can inject is a texture with the banshee inject.
