All Games On Hdd? What To Use It For?

So i have my old xbox and have been wanting to mod it. my first though was to make an arcade machine but now i am really thinking of using it as a normal xbox but putting all games from the xbox on an hdd, is this even possible? what would suggest i do with it? i dont need a media player and use my computer for most arcade games.
