Application Displayed Name Change - Why?
« on: July 19, 2013, 03:28:00 PM »

I would try this.

XBE Renamer
XBE Renamer is a program which can modify the default Title Names for XBE's (XBox Executables). Some XBE's have the strangest Title Names which is annoying if using features like EvolutionX's or XBMP's autoadd applications/games.
XBE Renamer reads the current Title Name from the xbe-file (usually named 'default.xbe'). It then enables you to change the Title Name and save it back to the xbe-file. The application works both on xbe's on the harddrive and directly on the Xbox via FTP acces

Thanks so much.

I'd not, obviously, found that download or the other potentially useful stuff on the Xbox-Scene Legal Tools page. Very helpful.

Just an update to say thanks again. I've just used Renamer and now have EvoX and Chimp2618 as the appropriate displayed application names; wish I'd found out how to this years ago.
