If you want to do it that way, you can, but you must load the ndure toolset (unleashx dash in e:\ndts) to disable shadow c. FTP, and delete everything from C, and ftp over the new files for C. If you screw it up, use xboxhdm to fix it.

k do i sel the shadowc.img file aswell and i cant get the xboxdash.xbe to transfer through ftp also i transfered everything from nurde c folder to c folder on xbox is this correct.   i went to the xbox and went to install menu and picked nurde retail i think it finnished im looking in the c folder now on flash fxp and this is whats in the c folder now

is this all correct i donot want to turn off xbox till this is verrified as correct id rather not take it all appart unless i absolutly have to.

ive tryed to ftp the audio folder and it wont let me do it any sugestions?  am i on the right track
i just went to the xbox and installed uddae but those folders are still empty

i used ndure setup with xbrowser now it boots the unleash dash with power and the error 21 comes up with the eject button ?

Follow the instructions for retail setup using the kingroach installer. Hint: you need the files from the stock ms dash version 5960. Please read and follow the steps in the documentation and it will work as you expect.
Please don't post back until you have tried to patch the drive C/msdash as outlined in the documentation.

Otherwise use basic setup and your xbox will be in a modded state with both power and eject.

ok for some of you this is easy but hey im a complete newbie would there be a better tut about patching c i cannot sem to figer out how to pach c folder and were to build a seperate c folder can some one help me im honestly trying to do this alone but i cant comprehend how to do it thanks

this is what im gonna try i unlocked the hd now im in xplorer360 and i took the c folder from nurde and added it to partition 3 and i took the e from nurde and added it to patition 4 im doing it thisway because i do not understand the patching c folder in the pdf that came with kingroaches tut.

These are unmodified orginal dashboard files. Get them from slayers/aid if you don't have them anymore.

ok mabe im missing something in xboxhdm.  the ndure folder putting it where??  i made a C folder in partition 4 on xplorer360 put all the dash files in there then added the ndure folder then i booted off the iso disk "xboxhdm" chose option 1 , the drive was unlocked typed xbrowser i opened the E folder found the C folder opened it up copyed all those files to the c drive of the primary master but i left the ndure folder behind i then opened the ndure folder in E\c\ndure  went to the ndure file the toolset then loaded i chose option 2 from there i waited till it said complete and thats where im at now am i missing something there
