If you use avalaunch then here is an excellent way to get video back say if someone fucks with your settings.

Get enigmah-x video switch, extract the xISO, put in on your xbox somewhere in a folder.  Then in the quickstart option, make the right trigger "quicklaunch" enigmah-x video switch.

Now if you ever need to recover,  turn your xbox on while holding the right trigger for about a minute (this will launch the video switch)  the select A (PAL) or B (NTSC), then turn your xbox off then back on and it should work!

Is there any way to edit config.xml to remove the NTSC-J option in the settings menu? It'd be a good safeguard if it's possible.

the video setting is in the default.xbe, if you want to see it, just drag and drop that default.xbe to your notepad and do a ctrl+f and type in ntsc-m to find that settings...

I wonder if anyone know what hex string do i have to delete to remove that whole video settings out!!!

surely you can always go back to the xbmp video settings to set it back to your correct video mode but how the heck can you do that when you can't even see the TV screen hehe biggrin.gifs...
