heres my current box and mods...keep in mind its my first ever box mod...yah i know they suck now but keep readin

ive already put mounts for the mobo on the bottom...now all i gotta do is go to homedepot to get some clear plexiglass to make the gap beween the bottom of laptop and top so the drives will fit....also gonna take out where the keyboard normally is on the laptop...cut a hole and put clear plexiglass over it..so when you open the laptop lid and...bam u can see the inside of the box...or if you wanna just hide all the insides...close the lid..easy right??ill prob put one of the hipscreens in too plus some lights. also putting leds for hdd activity and LAN act where the laptops mic in and headphone jacks used to be...LOOKKK

once again..a great van gough painting of my box wit the lid closed..(lol its kinda ironic bc my laptop model was an evo an im running evo x...so the logo on the lid of the laptop case says "evo " , which is kinda cool)

i would make the lcd screen work.....except im 16 and dont have the millions of dollers for the lcd controller so..scrap that one

please comment on ideas and or what you like/dont like about my idea...be as harsh :evil: as you want

well......its a sweet idea but very difficult. first off, the xbox modding itself should not be difficult; hip pad, relocation of p/e ports, and plexiglass top...its the adding of the pc laptop screen on top that strikes me as a challlenge.

um...i don't think it will work dude. It's a fantastic idea, one i wouldn't mind attacking myself, but you have to have a decoder/encoder to get a picture. Thats the most expensive part of such a mod.

noo im thinkin a controller bored of a hipsreen pad thing should work as a lcd conttroller bc it is a lcd controller...if not ima put an vga port an replace the old laptop lcd with a vga moniter lcd that has everything

watabout a vga port on my box...then use a normal computer lcd flat panal that moiunts to the laptop lid...that should work huh?

and wat yall think of the rest bc if i may jus take lid off if it gets too complicated??

Then it would weigh alot more and youll need a seperate power supply anyways, more weight.

ok well say idont care bout weigt...and all i gotta do is wire it to xbox power supply...if not ...ohh big deal..ill have two things to plug in...its just same as playin on a tv..ud plug in a tv and the boxnot to mention if u need a vcr
