I am just curious if you need the M$ compile software to make and extract the xpr files? I'd like to learn a bit about the orbs skin and maybe change some images to my own but everything is comressed in the textures.xpr. Just wondering what you need to get the image files back out.

Read through The Orbs thread. Plus post there that is where you will get the most help with that skin.

You can find the uncompressed textures here:
http://www.xbox-skins.net/forums/index.php?download=3200
delete the textures.xpr from the media folder of the skin and replace it with the uncompressed images.
If you have some nice images hat can improve the skin please send them to:

Thanks for the link. And that will do the trick but still no one has said what you need to make xpr files.

You don't need to make the xpr file, the skin work with uncompressed textures too.
Btw to make xpr you need to compile or find somewhere XBMCTex.exe

Thanks for the help on this. And to let you know I love this skin but I am changing some of the things to my own images. Like the gif for my pictures I am changing to a gif of my kids. Just making it more personal. I am just the type of person that likes to rip things apart and see how they work. I'm sure we have alot of those people around here though or we wouldn't have any of this stuff for the xbox.
