Building A New Hdd From An Eeprom?
« on: August 24, 2013, 01:33:00 PM »

Well, apparently I'm functionally retarded or there's no way to edit my previous post...

Anywho, I found kingroach's NDURE installer 3.1 (http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=411052), and just used it to "patch" the dashboard I downloaded previously. I guess that means that now the dashboard is softmodded?.

Well, I'm gonna give it a go with xboxhdm2.2a and the patched files. I'll post back any success/failure.

CODE
ln -s /mnt/hda1 /mnt/sda1

So, after that I locked it, saveing the info the locking generated to the boot harddrive.

After that, I just replaced the new xbox hdd with that in the xbox, turned it on, and was greeted with the unleashx dashboard.

At first I was only greeted with an F drive of approx. 120gb; had to enable G drive in Unleash system settings, reboot, and then from the file explorer format the G drive. Finally done!
