Aqtbroswer Won't Run
« on: May 07, 2005, 01:48:00 PM »

I recently downloaded AQTBrowser and set it up in XBMC and it worked for a month, now I came to use it for the first time in a while and now when AQTBrowser loads up I see a message on the screen that say "downloading www.apple.com/trailers/index.html" and then it just disappears and displays the XBMC dashboard.

I've tried installing newer versions of both XBMC and AQTbroswer but I get the same problem.

Any ideas?

And do you have the necessary python libs?  Is your internet connection properly working?  Did you check xbmc.log?  What about pushing the white button after you try to invoke the script?

Provide these details.

Good questions:

What Python libs are required?

I do have a working internet connection (RSS, Gametrailers, web radio) all work.. and the white button does nada.

Oh.. and there is nothing mentioned in the xbmc.log about any failures or even anything about AQT at all.

You sure you even have the script installed?

Also, you should be using the quicktimebrowser script now.  Not aqtbrowser.

Head on over to xbmcscripts.com and get it there.

You should also make sure you have the PIL (python image libs) installed as well, which I assume you do if webradio is working.

Anyhow, get the quicktimebrowser instead.
