Ripping Games Nxe Vs Xmenu
« on: January 18, 2010, 06:37:00 PM »

Is everyone ripping their games through NXE/NXEGOD or through XexMenu to hdd:\Games?  Just asking, because I had a bunch loaded to hdd:\Games, and a couple through NXE/NXEGOD, and though it is more convenient to load them directly from the MS dash (without having to create QuickBoot containers) I find having all the files extracted from the ISO through XexMenu much more convenient for archiving/ftp etc.  Wondering some pros/cons of each method for future-proof consideration with all these new programs/updates coming out.  I see a dash replacement coming, so perhaps a Game directory would be more prudent.

I personally use NXE2GOD games cause there are games that have way too many small files that make it take for ever to install over systems.

But now that XeXMenu is released and looks more promising than ever, I'll probably do the XeXMenu way, but only till XBR is updated to support loading other dashboards from HDD or something before loading NXE shell.

Something like:

Boot1st:

HDD1:\dashboard.xex
USB0:\dashboard.xex
Flash1:\dash.xex

It would defenetly rock, cause It would be like a replacement dash just like Xbox 1 old days (*Thinks UnleashX*)

Cheers.
