Hello,

I have a Original 60GB HDD for X360, but yesterday i remove the hdd to take some files to my pc.
I made a mystake and i formated the disk, and now my X360 don't recognize it.

I already format the HDD in NTSC, FAT32, ExFAT and in no format at all, and X360 continue to not recongnize it.

Any solution to this? I don't want to buy a new one sad.gif

Thanks so much for all the help smile.gif

Oh boy.

Well the XBox only reconizesthe FATX format. If you cannot format it on your 360 it is probably useless now.

All Original XBox HDD have a HDDSS record that is digily signed by MS. If that has been overwritten there is nothing you can do at this time. You can use a program like WinHex to check the HDDSS on the drive.

it starts at sector 16 or offset 0x2000.

if it is not corrupted you have a chance.

You can try to do this.

Xbox 360 Hard Drive Upgrade - ivc wiki
use the manual method. but don't do the step with HDDhackr. that step could corrupt the HDDSS record if it still good.

If the HDDSS record is corrupted nothing will work.

good luck
