Xboxmediacenter.xml
« on: February 14, 2005, 12:57:00 PM »

When I go to run xbox media center on my xbox, a black and red screen comes up and says its can't find q:xboxmediacenter.xml

Now its in the same folder as all the xbmc stuff. I used dvd2xbox and burned it to my e drive. The smaller e drive though not e/games.

it all depends on how you set the files up.. are you running xbmc as your dash or launching as an application?

Are you able to ftp back to the box to veriy .xbe .xml are there.

If so, did you back up a copy? If you did back try overwriting those files.

im guessing your xboxmediacenter.xml has the home tag modified.. you need to ftp into the box.. get the xboxmediacenter.xml, open it with notepad and look for the

<home>-</home>

and see whats in there it should looks exactly as i typed it for it to work from the disk
