Now that programs to easily access the Xbox 360 HD have been released, Sniperkil of 360gamesaves.com comes with another example of what this allows you to do:

perhaps we could inject our own pictures into the hdd/memcard

would be a good prank. someone grab the BSOD from win98 make it WS inject it to hdd, get a buddy to checkout your pics and be like dude WTF u broked my 360

Reminds me of the time I set all the computers' wallpapers in the school library to a pic of the BSOD... and took away all the icons and taskbar

I am working on extracting HDD games from Live Marketplace and injecting them onto another HDD. I don't see why this wouldn't work, and I have not yet bought Geometry Wars...

well it seems WinHex can automatically extract the .jpgs from the profile.sav

just open it in winhex.. go to tools, disk tools, file recovery by type, set it to JPG.. and let it run loose.. works great..

need a "full" version of winhex tho

but much more accessible to the general public... for those not too good with a hex editor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

x360 would be cracked wide open instantly and you could easily run any homebrew.

Not sure if anyone's posted a link to this SATA>USB adaptor but someone found it here at TigerDirect.

I did a little googling and found it for $5.00 cheaper comparing both w/shipping for me here.
