Hello guys, I'm having a problem here.
What happened:
I received an 3 RROD repaired Xbox 360 with E80 error. When I pulled out the mainboard, I noticed U6T1 to come off the board. It came off. That would be the cause of the E80. The person was telling me that her kids wanted to play Guitar Hero, and needed to update, which failed. I guess not everyone is carefull while repairing RROD's.
What do I have?
Two important things: the CPU-key and two identical NAND dumps.
What did I try?
Changing LDV values to different values. I managed to show the boot screen, and let the Xbox 360 ask for an update CD. The previous installed version was 2.0.6717 and the update is 2.0.7371. When I insert a USB-drive or an CD with dashboard 7371 it shows E81, when I try a different kernel, it isn't even trying to update.
Trying to solder U6T1 from my spare board was to difficult, it failed.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem??? I'm in a nice situation, because i have the CPU-key and NAND dump, but for some reson (knowledge I guess) I can't get it to work?
Thank you for helping me (IMG:
