Convert Video Downloaded From Marketplace
« on: December 13, 2008, 02:43:00 PM »

Please forgive me if this has been posted already, but I'd like to know if it's possible to convert videos that you have downloaded from Xbox LIVE and stick them on a DVD or make an AVI file.

I've still got the Ninja Gaiden documentary and would like to keep but at the same time clear up 2Gb of space on my HDD. I've already transferred everything over from my 360 HDD to my PC by means of a Talismoon Minispy, but the file names don't seem to mean anything, there's no extensions.

Any help would be great. smile.gif

I take it that it's not possible?  wink.gif

Yeah, but who knows what they're supposed to be? They aren't standard video files as far as I can tell as I've tried AVI and MPG (among others), and they don't work.

The videos are in HD WMV format inside the Live package file. You need to extract them using WxPIRS/WxHDD - .:Download Link:.

Awesome stuff, I used wxPirs and it worked a treat! I knew there had to be a way to extract these videos.

Thank you very, very much.  biggrin.gif
