Windows Media Connect No Longer Working With Wmce / 360
« on: February 20, 2006, 04:51:00 PM »

For some reason, Windows Media Connect stopped working with my Xbox 360.  I am running Windows Media Center 2005 with no problems (I can stream video and stuff)

My PC sees the 360, but the 360 doesn't see the PC. I've enabled all possible sharing via the Media Connect settings, rebooted, etc. But still no luck.  I even deleted the other user account on the PC. I'm guessing it's something under Control Panel / Administrative / Services

Any help? Thanks!   smile.gif

Just create a new connection from your 360 to your PC via WMC from scratch.
That's what I had to do.

This thread is almost a year old, the original posters may have died or started families and moved on.   My advice to you is start a fresh thread clearly explaining your issues.  You are sure to get more help that way.
