Sound is already supported. When we get some more features added on the 2.6.33 kernel we will try to make a new livecd.

Good job mate, there is definitely too little work on the linux side of xbox hacking these days. Keep carrying the torch!

@Sonic-NKT
As MaDMaLKaV mentioned bevore, Sound is already implemented.
Take a look here http://www.xbox-scen...lVulUXwsEKC.php

@Topic
I tried to compile it in my installed ubuntu 7.10 but still no luck.
got errors over and over.

I will try to compile it with the debian live cd but that is my last resort.

Okay, but where is it ? lol
Thought it should be a file called "xenosfb_drv.so" but there is no such file in your "xenosfb_source.zip" archiv.

Other thing, do u have some sort of install.sh for your debian sid including your updated xenosfb?
Already searched the whole net but most debian install scripts contain offline links.

About Debian install script, I used one from free60.org for an old version I apt-get updated , aput-get upgraded and apt-get distupgraded it like seven times to get into Sid.

wow 7 times sounds like a lot installation time.
I will try to update to ubuntu 8.04 LST Hardy via the built in upgrade function.
Will let u know if it works.

Thank's again.

By the way:
With the new dashlaunch 2.0 for J-tag consoles u are able to launch xell from the sytem menue.
This enables full cpu speed in Linux.
Just like it was with the original King Kong exploit.

You need freeboot and configure it to boot xellLaunch.xex.

Nice to see linux running full speed again.. too bad flash 10 doesn't work on PPC. I heard Lightspark is coming out with a PPC port soon. smile.gif Until then I'm trying out TinyXP using QEMU.

Try gnash - a flash alternative, works on most sites including youtube, not sure it works on PPC but worth a shot.
