Xbox Live Question

Hey I was wondering if I could use this to connect the Xbox 360 to my home's wireless network. I have a USB Receiver in my room and the main USB box that sends and receives is on our houses main comp. It is ISP/LAN and is broadband. Would this let my room's computer run on high speed still without interrupting the wireless connection? Also would this adapter run at high speed so I could play Xbox Live properly?
