Software Emulator For X360
« on: December 20, 2006, 08:44:00 AM »

I am sure this is probably embedded in this forum somewhere, but where do I download the software emulator for the 360?  I have a couple games I tried to play, and it gave me the error to check xbox.com.  I checked the site, and the backwards list, and it keeps saying to get the software emulator, burn to a disc and install on the 360.  I have been all through xbox.com and can't find it.

What is the URL?  Does the emulator work as they claim?

Dumb question, but how do you install?  Just burn to a disc, or do you have to FTP or something?

burn the default.xex to a disc, put it in your 360 and follow the prompts.

I am at work, so sorry for the dumb questions.  I use Nero.  Just burn it like an ISO and finalize disc?  Any particular DVDs?  The 360 prefer +, -, or does it matter?

Still nothing.  I guess I am a$$ out then, huh?  Tried to play my old tetris, nothing.  NFL2K5...nothing.  Be nice if they added tetris to arcade.

Got a link?  How would I know if that emulator was any different from the one I downloaded and tried to install?  Has anyone even had success getting NFL2K5 to work?  That is the main game I am concerned about.

NFL 2k5 isn't on the backwards compatibility list, thats why it won't work for you. as far as tetris goes
