Quickie: Is It Possible To Run Xbmc From Dvd Disc?

Hi.
A friend of mine has a borrowed xbox, and would like to watch some divx/xvid movies that I have. The thing is, the xbox has not xbmc installed on it.
So I was wondering, is it possible to make a bootable xiso disc with xbmc, run it from the dvd, and then swap discs, or MUSC it be installed on th xbox hard drive?

You can run it once from dvd, then you will end up with a black screen. (due to some writings that cant be donw to dvd but can be done to the hdd. xbmc team know of this problem)

Install it on the hdd and you will not have any problems
