Xbox 360 Dvd Problem?

when i play a dvd in my 360 and then open the disc tray while the dvd is playing, i see some weird lines on my tv screen right before i go back to my dashboard. i was wondering if this was normal. test it out on your 360 and let me knw on your results. thanks alot
