Hey, man, when I get the urge to play 360 I don't want to be impeded by the fact that I didn't leave my console on for x hours so my controllers could recharge.

Guys the Xbox360 is able to be turned on buy the wireless controller and the dvd remotes meaning that it is never 100% powered off. My guess is that God, I mean MS would be smart enough to keep the usp ports power to charch there controllers. Come on they have console war to win, Give them some credit.

Let us all please assume if something in question is rather simple and yet would be "really annoying" if they didn't do it the obvious way... let's please assume they have thought this out and have done it the obvious way.

According to M$, "To connect the controller, you push the connect button on both the console, and the controller". To me, it seems like thats what you are going to be doing everytime you turn the console on.

How many times do you "connect" your controller now?  I imagine once it's connected, it's connected... ever used a wireless keyborad or mouse?  do you have to sync them everytime you reboot? Seriously you guys are stressing over trivial issues rolleyes.gif

In the sticky that twisted quoted it said 6-8 hours to charge.  I really doubt they are gonna make you leave your 360 on for that long just to charge the controllers.  I agree with Bogus8 they have to have thought of this.

Well think about it your xbox constantly remembers the time and then when you unplug it it forgets it.  You'll always have juice flowin through it.

The IR receiver would also have to be always powered on in order to receive the Power ON command from the remote control. So im sure the USB ports would always have power as well.
