0002 Rrod When Powered Off?

So my friend's Xbox was getting a 0002 RRoD every time he turned off his Xbox.  He would have to unplug his Xbox to get them to turn off.  Other than that, his Xbox worked fine.  Soon after, it would get 0002 RRoD when you turned it on and rendered it unplayable.  I just got done removing, testing, and replacing the bad MOSFET and it now turns on just fine.  Everything works.  Except, it still gets 0002 when you turn it off.  I thought it could possibly a short somewhere on the RF board, but I tried a spare RF board and it did the same thing.  Not sure where to go from here.  Any ideas?

I also just found out today, (not sure if this helps or anything), that when I turn off the Xbox before it finishes the RoL cycling thing I don't get the RRoD.
