Hi - the internal XCM fan is supposed to be hooked up to the DVD drive unit.
This 12v power source is supposed to make the fan very loud as well.

So I was thinking... couldn't I cut the GPU side talismoon fan and hook that upto
a 12v source and then attach the XCM internal fan to that 5v stock source (where
I cut the GPU cable)?

Ahhhh.. but then I'm need to ensure the both have a gound. And I assume they both
couldn't be connected to the same ground. Anyone clarify please?
I might have to find a seperate gound for the GPU talismoon connected to a 12v source.
If I have to go this way can anyone make a recommendation?

The XCM fan will only runs at 5v so it quieter, just a little less cooling
effect but still a step foward.
