I got my fader in the mail today and was extremely excited to get it in.

Here are some pictures of the PCB with the fader board.

Currently uploading a video on YouTube. Will post link when its done.

So its fading nicely... but when I turn my 360 on... then off, the ROL fades but my fans remain ON and my PSU light remains GREEN.

sickdimension, HELP.

Scratch that. For some reason, it only happens when my Play & Charge kit is plugged into a controller.

To the best of my knowledge if you have your play and charge kit plugged into a controller when your 360 is off it runs One core and the fans stay on, atleast it does with mine.

Yea, i always thought that that was a cool feature.. if you have your play and charge kit plugged in, and you turn your 360 off, itll keep running and charge your controller and what not. But usually i just charge my controller using my laptop (since its usually always plugged in).. except i havent used my controller forever since my 360 has been in peices for weeks! lol.

But yea, LED fader.. 10 bucks? Thats pretty damn cheap. Is it hard to install???

Measure out the 6 wires.  Cut and strip.  Tint and solder to the right points and your done

Cool news with the fader, haven't heard much about them recently until this

I have a Weller WES51 soldering iron, it works very well I highly recommend it. Temperature control works great

Glad you like it! Thanks for posting. Remember, you can hook up to 10 additional LEDs to the H1 port and they will fade in sync with the ROL. You'll have to try that next.  biggrin.gif

woah, time out... so even when your 360 is off, 10 leds + your ROL will fade in sync?

Correct.  smile.gif

Once you turn the system on, the extra LEDs attached to H1 turn on solid, then once the system is off they begin fading again. There's the full details at fader360.sickmods.net. Maybe next week I'll have time to mod up my 360 to demo it, unless one of you beats me to it.

PS. Post number 3000! Wow...
