Driver Specific?

Hi it's been a while since i've burned a backup of one of my games, and i com pletely forgot how to use xbc and this v2.9 doesn't seem to be working at all. i have a LG LightScribe 22X Dual Layer DVD±RW Drive which i used to use to burn games easily, but now when i insert my game into the driver the start open is greyed out.
i was thinking maybe it's the driver specific, anyone have any idea how to fix this
