I have a liteon that refuses to power on
I shorted the two leads and was having trouble reading - kept getting 0's or C's for the key (tried dvdkey32 and doskey 1.2)
checked the rs232 connection and it works with other things and the test loops fine
rechecked all the connections and tried switching Tx with Rx ...
after still no luck, I tried reshorting the two leads and knocked off one of the resistors by accident.
the other resistor may be damaged too ... and now the drive won't power on at all!

What should i do?
Is it possible to get the key from a dead liteon drive?

Maybe could I replace the resistors?
how many ohms apiece are the two resistors at R709 and R710? (see pic)
