Xbmc As A Dashboard.....

I'm using evox but like the layout of XBMC.....is there any way I can use XBMC as my dashboard?  <

Yeah, you could use *any* XBE as a dashboard....

Work out what XBE your bios loads (evoxdash.xbe, xboxdash.xbe etc), and just get all of XBMC on to C drive. Rename default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe or whatever XBE your bios loads..

Done done and done...  <

You don't really need to have anything in C:

With XBTool I made a custom BIOS that loads XBMC directly from its working directory (I never bothered doing the "correct way" by copying/renaming the xbe in C: and edit the xml).

Here is what I made it boot...

F:\XBMC\default.xbe

as a failsafe I also have it boot C:\evoxdash.xbe if above is not found.


I have Xenium modchip so I just flashed a bank and set as default bios and it works perfect. I also have different bios that can run evox or avalaunch using the full path. Any modchip that is flashable would work.

I did add a static IP, gateway, dns etc. in the xml.
